Maslowski

Beach

Located on the Western side of Ashland along U.S. Highway 2, Maslowski Park and beach offers visitors a great place to relax and enjoy a swim in Lake Superior. The park boasts ample parking, a restroom and picnic tables and benches. Additionally, there is an artesian well that flows water year-round.

The shallow water at the beach makes it one of the warmer places for a swim in the otherwise cold waters of Lake Superior. Want to make a trip of it? The Prentice Park campground managed by the city of Ashland is just across the highway and has spaces for tents, campers and RVs. Additionally, lodging, bars, and restaurants are in close proximity to the beach.

No lifeguards are on duty at the park so swimming is done at your own risk. Additional questions can be directed to the City of Ashland at 715-682-7059.

Please be sure to read and observe all posted regulations. Prior to enjoying your day at the beach or on the water, please check the local weather forecast and be attentive to changing conditions.
