Sandy Beach is a beautiful white, sandy beach on Lake Superior, about 1 km long framed by bedrock cliffs. The beach faces west and is excellent for sunbathing and swimming. The beach is backed by sand dunes with fragile plant communities. The beach is unsupervised. Overnight camping is not permitted.
