Thessalon’s Lakeside Park is a public camping area situated right across from the beach on Lake Huron. Set up under the shade of beautiful 200 year-old white pine trees. This well equipped campsite has a spectacular view of the lake. You will find full-service and tent sites equipped with picnic tables. Visitors have access to pay phones, newly renovated washrooms and showers that are wheelchair accessible, fire pits (wood sold on site) and a dumpsite. A laundromat and town restaurants are located nearby. The grounds are well taken care of and have two baseball diamonds, a beach volleyball net and a full playground. Quiet time starts at 10 p.m.

Over a period of one year, I observed water as it appeared in my life. Living along the Sydenham River in Owen Sound, Ontario at the base of Georgian Bay, part of the Great Lakes watershed, I shot thousands of photographs.
