I was volunteering with the Credit Valley Conservation and we were up in Orangeville, where the headwaters of the Credit River were. We were doing river restoration. My connection was just seeing how pristine it was and the impact we were having on the environment. It fostered this connection to the water and to this waterbody. Since I’m from Mississauga it’s a really local connection.
