Dickey Lake, ON

My name is Chloe Cross and I grew up in Oakville, Ontario.

My waterbody that I feel connected to is Dickey Lake near Belleville. My grandpa had a cottage there and we used to go there when I was a kid all the time in both the summer and the winter. I used to go swimming with my siblings there. My brother would tell me that the fish would eat my toes if I wasn’t careful so I was a bit scared but it was a good time. In the winter we would go skating on the lake.
