Unfortunately, we wouldn’t go into the water because of pollution, but as a kid I spent a lot of time with my family biking or walking along the water or having picnics in the nearby park in the summers. It was always exciting when we packed up the car and drove down to the water where my sister and I could play with our dog in the grass, climb trees, and look for frogs and fish in the water. Our town hosted many community events there and when I was a little older, I was able to go canoeing for the first time on the Creek. It was a mini escape from the suburb we lived in.
My name is Stephanie and my watermark is Duffins Creek where it meets Lake Ontario in Ajax.
