My Watermark is the Kingston Waterfront of Lake Ontario.
My most powerful memory of the Kingston Waterfront is on every July 1st and Labour Day. A certain group of friends and my wife look forward to having a picnic at different locations along the Kingston Waterfront.
We've been doing this for decades. It'd be wonderful if the waterfront plan is in fact implemented in it's entirety. Maybe more people would go for picnics, and not only on Canada Say and/or Labour Day.
The Kingston Waterfront is important to me because the human interaction with water is eliminated and thus of critical importance. To ignore this relationship, is to ignore a fundamental need.
