My Watermark is Lake Huron, Ontario.

When I was young at the lake I remember walking along the soft wet sand going between my toes and feeling the water softly pushing me back and forth.
I’m not sure how but every time we ate sandwiches sand would always get on them no matter how hard I tried to keep them sand free.I remember that I always gave my crusts to seagulls.Mom would tell me not to but I did anyway because it was fun and I liked to chase the seagulls away after they ate.

When I was young at the lake I used to make huge sand castles by the water and decorate them with rocks and leaves and feathers. I would also put water under the castle and make a little bridge for the little people I made out of rocks. When I got in the water I jumped and splashed around for awhile until my mom said it was time to eat.

When I was young at the lake I almost stepped on a snake while walking back to our car. One time I also went on a boat with my uncle and watched the water as we skimmed through it. When I was in the water I would always grab clumps of sand from the lake floor and toss them back into the water.

Sometimes if there was a big rock in the water that the waves just barely passed over, I would get other rocks and try to make a wall to stop the water, eventually it would give out and fall but sometimes I even decided to play Godzilla on it and completely destroy it.
