Today has been a beautiful day on the lake, the sun’s out, there are birds out. I’m with some good friends and we are enjoying our time. I think the biggest thing I would take from Lake Ontario is our parent’s generation viewed it and taught us it was a place where you didn’t swim. It was just accepted that was the way the lake was.
It doesn’t have to be that way, it can be a clean lake that people can eat fish out of and swim in. For people in the city, the closest thing they can see to nature is the lake. It’s a great place for people to learn, to get a connection to nature.
