I grew up my whole life camping every summer and swimming a lot in the lakes, but it wasn't until this summer that I really appreciated the lake. I live close to Lake Ontario and go biking and rollerblading almost every day down by the water. Recently as I was sitting on a bench by the lake I finally understood why my parents always wanted to have a waterfront home. I just love the positive energy the water brings, I love the smell and the calming effect it has on me.
