It has been a tradition in my family every summer to go camping for a weekend. Last summer we stayed at a campground called Granite Ridge where we did a variety of activities during our stay such as fishing and swimming. Despite the amazing view of the beautiful trees and forest all around the lake, we found that the lake wasn’t quite clean. This meant that the fish that we were catching from this lake weren’t living in a healthy environment. The lake also had bugs floating around on the surface of it which made some of my family members not want to go swimming in it. I enjoy fishing but at this specific waterbody, the water made me not want to fish because the fish may be carrying bacteria that would be harmful to those consuming it.
