My Watermark is Mary Lake, Ontario.

When I was young at Mary beach, Port Sydney, I always had fun. I would always ask to come back and I did. It was a great highlight of my childhood and that still is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. I would jump off the dock and I would also go under the dock with my sister and sometimes my cousin.

When I was young at Mary beach, I remember events like Canada day that go on there. I used to have water gun fights with my friends. We would go all over the beach spraying each other until we would get yelled at, which would happen a lot. We would also have mud fights then we would go swimming to wash it off.

When I was young at Mary beach, I would go fishing. I have always had luck there and I would catch bass and perch. Those are the most common type of fish in that lake. But I have also caught pike and I have heard stories of huge muskies in the lake but I have never caught one myself. Mary Lake is a good place for cliff jumping because there are islands in the lake with big cliffs to jump off of. It is also a good place to go in the morning because the water is so calm and there are no waves and there is barely anyone there.

I would sometimes go to the dam that connects to Mary lake and just watch the rapids. Some people would swim there, mostly teenagers. I have only done it twice because there is a really strong undertow as well as a really strong current that could easily wipe you off your feet and carry you away down the river. Every time I would swim the rapids I would wear a lifejacket because I was only 8 or 9 at the time. That's what I would do when I was young at Mary beach.
