My parents bought a cottage on Miller Lake in 1976. It was a small lake north-east of Parry Sound. I was 7 years old. We spent our summers there and in the lake the whole time. We fished, swam, I learned how to waterski and canoed around. The lake was narrow enough that we could swim across it and sit on the rocks across from the cottage. As a young kid this was very thrilling to have that freedom. It was such a magical part of my childhood with so many happy memories of the cottage and the lake.
