Ottawa River, ON

My Watermark is the Ottawa River.

I live near Britannia Beach and have been a member of Britannia Yacht Club for more than thirty years. I sail, I swim, and in summer you can always find me using the water somewhere. I was born near the ocean, so for me, the Ottawa River and Lac Lachine are my surrogate oceans. I bring a sprinkle of salt and the feeling is there. It’s a resourceful feeling; we came from water millions of years ago, and that feeling is still there.
