Many years ago, when I was younger, I went swimming for one of the first times at my cottage at Rice Lake. The weather was very nice it was warm, with a mild breeze. The water was a good temperature as well and an almost dark/navy blue colour.
It was one of my first times actually swimming outdoors and not at lessons/in a pool, so it was a great experience for me. I swam further than I had in lessons and got used to different temperatures. I believe it impacted me because, I think swimming in the lake, in a wide open space at my cottage really helped me become a better swimmer, and increase my skills. Now I really enjoy swimming as a hobby and have gotten much better over the years.
