Lake Ontario, as you probably know, is not the warmest water for swimming. It was popular, it really was, the beach strip along there. It was really a wonderful, wonderful place to hang out when you're young.
When I was a kid coming to Ontario, we used to go down and swim in the Bay under the lift bridge. A friend of mine who worked at American Can Company used to swan dive off the top of the railroad bridge. I said "I could do that", (but) it's up 60 feet, I was terrified. I finally just steeped off, but I got to tell you something, it was a long way until you hit the water.
