I spent the first 12 years of my life as a very accomplished child freeloader at a friends cottage where our family would go and stay and it was a cottage where the group of seven would stay and pay their rent by painting. I was 0 to 12 years old and a terrible painter so I didn't really have to pay any rent but I do remember basically living on the Canadian shield and in Georgian Bay from the time that it becomes cellular and DNA to me. Specific memories are hard but I just remember endless azure blue skies and running with friends and jumping in the water and the fun of that would never end.
