I grew up on this bay, I'm proud of it, it's recovering, and I hope for its future.
My Watermark's water was a dirty, dangerous place to go. We weren't allowed to go here and we came down to the shoreline and they'd be dead carp and it would smell. It was a nasty thing. It's amazing the improvement because people now have canoes and kayaks and stuff. But Back in the day, when I was a kid 40 years a go, you wouldn't dare go down here. You wouldn't go into the water -- it smelt.
