My Watermark is the Kingston Waterfront of Lake Ontario.
My most powerful memory of the Kingston Waterfront was the time I walked my dog down the Bell Park/Cataraqui River front I noticed all of the beaver eaten tree remnants, the city fencing in place as a deterrence.
Beavers mean a healthy water ecosystem, they are important to our waterfronts and preserving their natural form and processes.
The Kingston Waterfront is important to me because water is life and necessary to human and non-human (animal) biodiversity.
