Every summer my family and I would head to Sauble Beach on Lake Huron. I have a lot of memories playing on the water as a kid. We would go swimming in the mornings and evenings; the water was always clean and swimmable.
My earliest memories of Lake Huron at Sauble Beach are mud fights with my siblings. As the youngest in a family of 4 siblings, these mud fights were a big part of my childhood.
In the summer of 2014, my friends and I went kayaking, but my parents had never kayaked. I somehow influenced them to try it out for the first time. We kayaked past blue waterfalls pouring into the lake from the shoreline. The weather was perfect for a paddle - not a cloud in the sky.
