Georgian Bay, ON

Wasaga beach is somewhere amazing to go with friends or family.

Wasaga is important to me because it's where I spent a great week near the cold, clear waters of Georgian bay and got to spend time with my family. At Wasaga beach the water can be quite calm at night and warm at times but only on some days. In the day it can get pretty wavy which is very fun to play games in the water. This year was my first time going to Wasaga and me and my family will continue to go there because we had so much fun together.

For all of my family and my first year going my aunt joined us and she went swimming with my brother and me. This body of water made me have a great time away from home and I can't wait for friends to come with me soon. We played tons of games. There were so many stores to go to in just a walking distance from the cottage I was staying at, so we did some looking around and went for runs near the beach and raced each other down the street. All those reasons are why Wasaga beach is so special to me and why you should go see it too.
