Lake Laurentian is a beautiful body of water nestled within the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area. To me, Lake Laurentian epitomizes the message of Swim Drink Fish by providing an accessible green space where connections to water can be forged and strengthened. From their year-round educational programs introducing students of all levels (elementary, secondary and post-secondary) to local ecosystems and the history of restoration in the Sudbury area, to providing a space for outdoor recreation and education in the heart of the city, Lake Laurentian is a perfect example of the strong connections between people, the land, and the water.
