Today, July the 7th, we left Marysville, Wolfe Island around 5 o'clock, headed up to Main Duck Island. We weren't expecting as much wind as we got into, but it was all fun. We got up here in about an hour and a half, which is pretty good time. We're going to put the tent up and get ready for a great night around the campfire. Things couldn't get any better.
It's great to come up here, it's just so peaceful and nobody around. I love to bring my kids up here and we swim, the water is so clean. It's just what everybody should experience -- it's just truly amazing.
The game plan tomorrow is to set out around 5 or 6 (in the morning) if they can get me up in the time, and we're going to head up to Toronto. We'll see how that goes, hopefully weather permitting, we'll get there on time.
