I started off doing my work and enjoyment of the outdoors in the Canadian Shield Lakes. The Great Shield Lakes were tiny and pristine. I always thought the Great Lakes were so big, and so dark, but then I started working on the Great Lakes, and I became absolutely engrossed in their majesty. My family always jokes, that every time we’re near any of the Great Lakes, I point a finger out to the lakes and say, ‘It’s Mine!’
The roar of the lake, the inland seas, the sweet waters seas, all really resonate with me. It is just a place of magnificence and greatness. So I hope just like me, everyone tries to make the lakes great.
