I've been near Lake Ontario my entire life. I go down there for lots of walks and to swim. It's a very important part of my life and weekend routine. When I go for daily walks with my family, we always walk by the beach or sometimes go down to the rocks and collect beach glass.
Some of my favourite memories are times like the year the water rose a lot; an area of sand disappeared, so we had to figure out how to climb the rocks instead. After we figured that out, we started to explore one of the other rocky areas and now it’s my favourite place to go.
Another one of my favourite memories is when I went to a day camp, and we went down to the lake with paddle boards and canoes. I chose to paddle board and it was one of the most peaceful times I've had at that beach. It's where I first learned how to paddle board and canoe, now I love going to a cottage and paddleboarding.
