This water body is way too important to explain in a small paragraph. I stroll down by the lake with my best friends to connect with them, I watch the fireworks there, I love visiting the Scarborough bluffs and feeling connected to it. I work in sanitary and stormwater design and know how important this lake and all its tributaries are to the city of Toronto's everyday function (as well as all other cities relying on it).
My friends surf on Lake Ontario, walk their dogs, use it as a water supply, and cruise across it to visit the island. It's invaluable.
