My watermark is Lake Superior in Thunder Bay, Ontario when I was studying at university between 2011 and 2015.
Lake Superior’s important to me. When I was studying environment studies, I felt really connected to Lake Superior as a freshwater lake, the biggest one in Canada. I found that I felt connected to the species, the cold water species, that were there, and the ecosystem in Northern Ontario.
I’m also a photographer, so from a photography perspective, traveling and exploring Lake Superior during that time was really fun for me. It’s such a beautiful lake.
