Private Pond, Parry Sound, ON

My Watermark is Parry Sound.

I had a lot of fun going to Parry Sound as a child growing up. One of the watermarks of mine is the pond that is between my grandma’s house and my aunt’s house. That was the pond that during the wintertime would freeze over, that was the first place where I learned to skate. On top of that, there was a family gathering for Boxing day where we did a bunch of games and that was where I learnt how to curl. I had a lot of fond memories while that pond was frozen over. It's a little worst for words right now, but still close to my heart.
