When I was young at the beach, I remember seeing the vast lake and wondering if it ever ends. I recall the smell, french fries and hot dogs and burgers. I can still hear the sound of the seagulls chirping, looking for an unsuspecting bystander to take their food. Furthermore, I would sit there waiting anxiously, just ready to run into that clear blue lake.
When I was young at the beach, I remember running into the water whilst, the small waves pushed me back. I remember playing catch and running and swimming. I look back to standing on the sandbanks, in the water looking around, just watching the waves, water, and wildlife.
When I was young at the beach, I remember feeling happy and relaxed. I always loved when we were almost completely alone at the beach and how quiet and peaceful it was. It was simply perfect. I remember the calmness the beach brought upon me when I went. The waves and the way the sand shifted under my feet was incomparable to anything else.
At the beach, I will always remember the memories I made there. Going to the beach during a storm or finding a crystal whilst searching for beautiful rocks or hanging out with my best friend for the first time outside of school. These are the memories I will always cherish at Port Stanley beach.
