Our family does a lot of boating canoeing, swimming in and around Poverty Bay. A lot of first time water experiences were had on the lake. It's where our two kids caught their first fish, learned to swim. It's the North tip of cottage country and we love how quite and peaceful it is. We love being able to just let the kids go out and play.
Actually, this past summer (August) our kids went out and canoed together for the first time. It's important for us to be able to navigate and experience our waterway. It's a big part of how we spend time together as a family.
