Lake of Two Rivers Picnic Ground and Beach is a popular spot for families to enjoy a picnic lunch or take a dip in the Lake of Two Rivers. As suggested by its name, the lake is surrounded by two rivers. The Madawaska River enters the lake from the west and exits from the east. This beach is centrally located within Algonquin Provincial Park along Highway 60 and is in close proximity to Algonquin’s oldest campground, Two Rivers Campground. Pets are not permitted. No lifeguards, water safety is your responsibility. Life Jacket Lending Program available.

I listened to a pair of bald eagles call out in the middle of a common loon. Symphony while floating in my canoe.
