Ball Street Beach is on the Lower Niagara River. It is not a priority beach for the area and not tracked in beach monitoring programs as of summer 2010. As of 2010, local and provincial government have expressed uncertainty about the source of water quality problems there. The beach is a narrow strip of partially sandy and partially rocky riverfront with low levels of algae usually present.
