Burnt River Beach - Somerville

Beach

Burnt River Beach is located at the end of Hillside Drive along the eastern shore, just west of the Village of Burnt River. This beach is a 12-metre, sandy beach, on the shore of the Four Mile Lake. The lake has clear, beautiful, warm freshwater. A public boat launch is available on the beach, and washroom facilities can be found at the end of Hillside Drive. The shoreline area is the only public boat launch along the lake. To maintain a safe swimming environment, a local bylaw restricts access through a locked gate to the boat launch during swimming hours.
