Canatara Park Beach is a Blue Flag Beach for the 2019 season*.

Canatara Park Beach is located along the Lake Huron shoreline in northeastern Sarnia. The beach has washrooms and parking (including designated parking for people with disabilities). There is lifeguard supervision from 11am -6pm June until August. The nearly 1-km beach is part of the larger Canatara Park, an urban park with trails, picnic areas and other amenities.

*A Blue Flag beach is one that meets strict water quality and safety criteria. These beaches are certified annually as being clean, accessible, eco-friendly, and having great water quality! Swim Drink Fish is the National Operator for Blue Flag in Canada.

Theres a lot of stories, we were sailers, we were swimmers, we were water-skiers, we were surfers, we were wind surfers, we did it all, canoers. We mainly raced sail boats on the water. We drank Lake Huron right out of the side of the boat.
