Joy Marritt Parkette (formerly Church Street Parkette) is located in Keswick within the community of Craigmawr Beach. It is a small parkette on Lake Simcoe in Cook’s Bay, the lake’s southernmost bay. This parkette offers a grassy area and picnic tables.

Joy Marritt was a lifelong resident of Keswick, a practical nurse, and a member of one of the pioneer families established in the 1870s. The Church Street Parkette was the former site of her residence, and was sold to the town in 1977. The renaming of the parkette pays tribute to the Marritt family for their significant role in the town's development, history, and heritage.

I’ve been around that area long enough, 61 years, to see that lake, that Bay, that waterbody, change in terms of water level. Seeing changes around the landscape in and around that area, seeing how the species that are evolved there. Just how we interact with the water has changed over those years.
