Biigtigong Nishnaabeg is a Nishnaabeg community located off the TransCanada Highway (11/17) on highway 627, along the northern shores of Gchi-gamig (Lake Superior). Biigtigong Nishnaabeg is the owner of a land parcel located at the mouth of the Pic River and along the shore of Lake Superior that includes a beach commonly known as the "Mouth of Pic". It is a private owned land that is accessible by community members for a variety of community events. It is also home to Biigtigong Nishnaabeg's traditional pow wow grounds and a place for community members to gather to camp during the summer months.
