Southampton Beach

Beach

Southampton beach is a beautiful sandy beach stretching for kilometres across the Lake Huron shoreline. It is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy a Lake Huron sunrise or sunset. Free parking and accessible washrooms available. The rare dune grass found on these shores makes this area an excellent migration route for Appellation birds and Songbirds. From the beach, you can spot Chantry Island a little ways off the coast - it is a migratory bird sanctuary spanning 19 hectares and available only by tour boat.

Check out Gerry's Fast Food and the historic boardwalk and Pioneer Park while you're here.
