Wisconsin Point located just outside of Superior, Wisconsin is one of the true gems of the Lake Superior shoreline.
At just over 2.75 miles of beach, Wisconsin Point is one of the longest freshwater sandbars in the world.
Visitors to Wisconsin Point will enjoy long stretches of beach, excellent wildlife and bird watching and historical markers reminding visitors of the Chippewa People who originally inhabited the area.
Additionally, the Wisconsin Point lighthouse on the far western point is worth a visit.
No vehicular traffic between 11pm and 4am.
Dogs are allowed, but need to be leashed.
No class containers are allowed on Wisconsin point and fires must be more than 10 feet from any vegetation.
