For a spectacular view of freshwater rapids, head to Cascades Conservation Area. Watch as the water rushes along the Current River over a wide variety of unique and ancient geological formations. The park hosts a variety of trails, each its own unique experience. The Forest Trail loop is a must-see; it is accessible, allowing everyone to enjoy the beautiful birch and poplar forests. Stop by for an afternoon picnic or barbeque under the pavilion. The park is also a popular dog-walking destination, so bring along your four-legged buddy!

Back in 1985 the Current River was my first exposure to white water tubing, throwing my friends and me into each other while we laughed and squealed out excitement.
