Located on a stunning portion of the Rideau Canal is Foley Mountain Conservation Area. With plenty of trails, scenic lookouts, sandy beaches, and plenty of spots to stop for a picnic lunch, this park is an ideal nature getaway any day of the year! Hike up to the granite ridge for some of the best sunsets in the Great Lakes region. The 9 km of trails, including the accessible Mobility Trail, will bring you through mature Maple, Beech, Pine and Oak forests, past wildflowers and a variety of animals. The shallow, sandy beach is great for kids, while the bay offers superb open-water swimming for more advanced swimmers. Foley Mountain Conservation Area has something for everyone!
