Haldimand Conservation Area

Along the sandy and pebble-filled beaches of Lake Erie’s coast is Haldimand Conservation Area. With over 140 acres and 230 campsites, this conservation area is an ideal place to immerse yourself in nature. Winding roads will take you along the coastline for a stunning day of cycling. There is a beautiful octogonal picnic pavilion and plenty of other picnic spots to stop for a bite to eat. There are plenty of waterfowl and migrating birds, making Haldimand a preferred birdwatching destination. A wide variety of wildlife live within the park, including deer, great blue herons, and red-tailed hawks. Haldimand Conservation Area is truly a quintessential Great Lakes getaway!
