Park

Meisel Woods Conservation Area is a stunning 130 acre property located on the epic Canadian Shield. The park is filled with dense, natural forest surrounding a 60 acre lake, known as Beaver or Bass Lake. Over 5 km of well-marked trails wind their way through the forests, offering spectacular views of the lake. A boardwalk crosses the wetland habitat in the north, while the rugged trails and footbridges bring you closer to the lake. Meisel Woods Conservation Area is home to a wide variety of plant and animal species, a strong example of the Tay and Rideau Watershed habitats.
