Mikisew Provincial Park

Park

Three beautiful sandy beaches, gorgeous woodland trails, and amazing paddling on Eagle Lake are what await you at the Mikisew Provincial Park. This park was named after the Ojibwe word meaning eagle. Naturally, as you first enter the park gates you will be greeted by an elaborate eagle carving. As you wind through the connected park trails over various terrains, make sure to bring your camera and your favourite book. There are numerous must-see spots with views overlooking the lake, as well as secluded lakeside clearings that are perfect for relaxing with a good book. Also keep an eye out for the local wildlife. You might spot a ruffed grouse or a blue heron during your visit. Mikisew Provincial Park won’t disappoint, and will surely become a new favourite destination! You can also enjoy winter activities in this park. Please contact the park for more details.
