Morris Island is a lovely 116 acre site located close to the quaint community of Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario. The park is open year-round and features both wetland and woodland habitats, including mature fir and deciduous forests. The landscapes here resemble those immortalized in the Group of Seven paintings (a historic group of Canadian painters) and are sure to inspire nature enthusiasts of all ages. Have a picnic in the shade and unwind on the shoreline, watching as the steady waters flow by. Morris island is also a popular fishing and outdoor education site. The park is very accessible, allowing everyone to explore the well-marked trails.
