Pottawatomi Conservation Area (also known as Jones Falls Conservation Area) is a lovely park on the western side of Owen Sound, Ontario. Explore the area by hiking and climbing around the escarpment, or try cross-country skiing in the winter. The region contains over 7 km of trails, ideal for all experience levels. The trails will bring you to lookout spots with spectacular views of the stunning Jones Falls. These classic cascade waterfalls stand 12 m high and flow over the Niagara Escarpment into the Pottawatomi River. Top tip: cascading waterfalls are the most impressive in the spring, so make sure you stop by in the warmer months!
