Seymour Conservation Area

Park

Located in Campbellford, Ontario, along a restored Oak Alvar Savannah is the beautiful 200 acre Seymour Conservation Area. This park is home to a former limestone quarry — now a tranquil swimming hole. Picnic shelters overlook the quarry for a lovely afternoon lunch. The ideal setting for a peaceful hike, Seymour Conservation Area boasts several well-marked, easy-going trails. While the park is wonderful in every season, the spring brings with it wildflowers that blanket the conservation area. You absolutely have to see in person! Keep your eyes peeled for the abundant wildlife that live in the region, including Heron rookery, Garter and Ribbon snakes, Porcupines, and Painted Turtles.
