My Watermark is the Kingston Waterfront of Lake Ontario.
When I grew up in Prince Edward Island where I lived 30 minutes from the ocean. I spent countless hours playing in the water with family and friends. When I moved to Kingston, I automatically felt connected to it because of Lake Ontario. I always say that my gills dry up if I'm not close to water, as it is a big part of my life. If I'm not swimming, kayaking or diving in it, then I feel like my body is missing something.
The Kingston Waterfront is important to me because it offers an endless sanctuary for me to plan in. It keeps me healthy as I'm able to kayak and swim in Lake Ontario.
