We have a cottage there and my whole family has grown up there since I was about seven. We go every weekend, spend a lot of summers there. Sauble Beach is really gorgeous so we'll all go the beach and drink, eat and just have a good time.
I particularly remember a sad moment where I was out on a Seadoo and had an accident and was very close to drowning with my father. We flipped and had a lot of difficulty breathing and swimming as the waves were going over our heads, even with lifejackets on. There was a lot of moments where we realised that we might not make it out of this, but eventually we were both able to get to safety.
But we still love the lake and go out on it every chance that we have and show our love for Lake Huron.
