Ruby, Trevor and I went to Rouge River in Pickering for a day to learn fly fishing from Brett, our coworker. While there's a steep learning curve to fly fishing, Brett taught us how to read the water. This is something fundamental not only to fly fishing, but to appreciating nature.
On a larger scale, I learned how to maintain my focus on nature and all of its complexities, and found a new way to recharge my energy through watching the natural flow of water.
