St. Lawrence River, ON

My name is Christine Mattson and I live on Wolfe Island.

My favorite waterbody is the St. Lawrence River. I have many memories about the river, my earliest memory is learning how to swim on the flat rocks at my cottage. As a child, I would just sort of crawl along the flat rocks until it got too deep then I would just start swimming. It was just fun, it was a very very memorable moment – I was probably about 3 years old.
